Our Focus

Our experience is it's relatively easy to make money in markets, but very difficult to keep it. We focus on building robust, uncorrelated systems to generate profit while overlaying automated risk management for capital preservation.

The Aquion System

Multiple independent trading systems, one P&L. Each system trades a unique sector; a single risk framework combines them into one portfolio. Two systems are live today, more are in build.

Fitness Gate

Every strategy must continuously prove it is performing. Anything that degrades is benched automatically and its capital is reassigned.

Earn Your Seat

Capital is earned, not given. Strategies are sized by risk contribution and capped by family and style. Anything that cannot earn a seat defaults to yielding cash.

Enforced Diversification

A correlation screen blocks any two seats from making the same bet, so the book cannot quietly concentrate into a single trade, asset, or style.

Bradford Pope McArthur, CMT

Trader, risk manager, algorithm builder, and Chartered Market Technician. Bradford has built years of deep experience in crypto, outperformed BTC and the S&P as a discretionary trader from 2018–22, and built Aquion's MVP in five months. He helps organize VTIC, a 2,000+ member traders' club in Vancouver. His background spans energy, tourism, and media, plus a past career as a professional climber and whitewater kayaker who filmed with National Geographic from the Arctic to Antarctica. He is also the author behind The Long Watch.

Hossam Mohammed

Technology leader specializing in intelligent decision systems that operate reliably at scale. Raimi Azeez

Python quantitative developer and data scientist focused on taking trading strategies from research to reliable live execution. At Xavier McAllister Holdings, Raimi advanced from Data Analyst to Partner within two years. He has delivered trading and analytics systems for hedge funds, solo traders, and startups. Raimi holds an MSc in Financial Engineering and authored Code to Profit, a practical guide to deploying automated strategies.

Aaron Samsonoff

Founder-operator with four exits across ad-tech and digital assets. Co-founder and former COO of InvestDEFY, a structured-products and AI analytics platform for crypto. Founding Partner at CTR Capital Fund with early bets across disruptive tech, including several $1B+ DeFi protocols. Active in crypto since 2013. Aaron brings product, market-structure, and execution depth to Aquion.

Advisor

Sean Chan

Over 16 years of experience in corporate finance, investment management, and family office strategy. Sean has held C-level roles across multiple companies and has been directly involved in more than $1.5 billion in investment and business transactions spanning capital markets, real estate, and alternative assets. Founder of the Circle of Single Family Offices (CSFO) and advisor to several fintech and trading firms.
